In celebration of 40 years since its founding,
Prince Street Gallery is pleased to announce its first
Guest Solo Show Competition.

The international competition is open to both emerging as well as already established
artists and will be juried by the artists of Prince Street Gallery.
The Prince Street Gallery was established in 1970 and is now in its 40th season. It first opened its doors on Prince Street in SoHo and since 2001 has been located at 530 West 25th Street in Chelsea, NY. Prince Street Gallery originally emerged out of the Alliance of Figurative Artists and now represents a broad range of figurative, non-figurative and abstract artists. During its founding years the gallery received several grants from The New York State Council on the Arts for exhibitions and catalogues. Prince Street Gallery has hosted three prior juried shows with jurors Philip Pearlstein, Irving Sandler and Susanna Coffey.

Lecture:
The Norman Shatan Lecture series was created to honor and remember one of the founders of Prince Street Gallery. The Shatan Lecture is given by the juror of the Juried show and this year's will be given by Susanna Coffey.  Please check back for specific time and date.
